Wanna see what I have been doing?

So here are the pre-new hard wood floors. It was a mess at our house for several days:

And the new floors:

Nice huh? Yes I am very pleased with the new floors. Now to do the stairs and down stairs. Wow it is so much work, but so worth it in the end. Maybe by summer we will have it done?!

So then we made Christmas cookies for Santa. There supposed to be candy canes. My kids made them with my younger sister Hope. Hhmmmm…they really dont look like candy canes….and they really did not taste good. Poor Santa….:

We made this batch of cookies with Nana Joan….they were much better!:

I think Ben licked more frosting than putting them on his cookies. I wonder who got to eat his cookies?:

Just can’t get enough of this little girl, she is so stinkin cute. Those eyes, and cheeks…she is not allowed to date until she is 30:

Cowboy Chandler. Thank you aunt Rachael for buying me loud guns….Just wait till you have kids, we are going to buy the loudest toys out there!:

These are called Ting-a-ling’s and they are very yummy and super easy to make:

1 package of semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 package of butterscotch chips
1 cup of nuts (cashews or peanuts)
1 container of chow mein noodles

Melt the chips together being careful not to burn it, and then mix melted chocolates with the nuts and noodles. Drop onto waxed paper by the teaspoonful and refrigerate for 2 hours. How is that for easy.
