Peach Crunch Cake

February 13th, 2010

This recipe I found on Bakerella. It is so easy. So yummy. So go buy yourself some peaches and try it out!

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F

Start by dumping 24.5 oz jar of sliced peaches in light syrup in a 13 X 9 dish. The whole thing. Just dump it in. Once I dumped mine in, I took a knife and cut them up a bit.

Then dump 1 package yellow cake mix on top of the peaches. Do not add anything to the cake mix. Then place 1 stick butter (1/2 cup), cut into 16 pieces all over the top of the cake mix.

Then sprinkle 1 cup brown sugar on the cake.

Then sprinkle 1/2 cup chopped walnuts…this is the final layer.

Bake for about 40 minutes.

Serve warm or cold… with or without ice cream. We of course added ice-cream. :) If it is going to be fattening, you might as well go all the way, Right?
