To my children:

January 22nd, 2007

Bryce, Chandler, Benjamin, and my little Kaitlyn,
I just want each of you to know that I love you so much. I am so proud to be your mom. You guys each bring me so much joy and happiness, and so many more feelings. You each have such unique personalities. You have been fearfully and wonderfully made.

Bryce~ You are such a strong boy. You are going to be such a great leader. God will be able to so many great things with you. You have such a wonderful smile. You are kind to those in need. You are generous when someone needs something. You do have such a tender heart. Jesus loves you so much. So do your mommy and daddy. You are such a protector of those who you love. What a great husband you will be one day. You are charismatic. I know that Jesus loves it because you are going to be so passionate about what you do.

Chandler~ Your gentle spirit is so sweet. You are always thinking of others and what they will need or how they feel. I love how you watch out for your brothers and sister. You are so precise in your thinking and talking, I often catch myself wondering how God will use you. I think he is going to use your voice to bring glory to HIM. You could do so many things for him. You too have such a wonderful smile, and those eyelashes are going to sweep some girl off her feet one day.

Benjamin~ You have such a great sense of humor. You are always trying to make mommy and daddy laugh. And your brothers too. I love how you kiss Kaitlyn so gently on her head. What a big boy you are. You are tough little cookie. I love how when you fall or get hurt you get right back up and keep trucking along. You don’t slow down. Jesus will be able to use that quality for him as long as you keep your eyes fixed upon him. You too have a smile that just makes me so happy. And those curls on your head, I hope you have them forever.

Kaitlyn~ You are such an angel and God knew that I needed a little girl. You are always in a good mood, even when you wake up. You are so laid back. You are gentle. Your temperament is so sweet. You are so much fun to have. I love how you look at mommy and daddy. Especially daddy, your whole little face lights up. I hope that as you get older we will have some good talks around some coffee…at Starbucks, if it is still around. I don’t know yet if you will be allowed to date. :) I am sure though the day will come when you tell us that you are in love, and that you want to get married. I am already praying for that man, that he will love you and take good care of you.

Kids, I love you guys, The most important thing that I want you to know about is Jesus. Secondly, I want you to know that my love for you is unconditional. I will always be here for you. There will always, be a shoulder to cry on, someone to laugh with you, someone to watch you succeed, someone to listen to all your joys and trials, I will walk through the highs and I will walk through the lows with you. I am so proud of each one of you. I am so thankful to God that he choose me to be your mom. What a gift he has given to me and he gave me 4!

I love you, MOM

Heidi, I ran across your blog through Joy’s … funny thing is, I was just watching an SCA video from 1994 and wondering “where is everyone now?” Your family is beautiful. GOD bless!
